This last weekend I went on a camping trip to Smith Rock with the rest of my intro to outdoor adventure programming class. I had a great time on this trip, we camped out for 2 nights in pretty cold conditions. Saturday was the first time that I have ever been rock climbing on real rock. it was a great experience and I hope I get to do it again soon.
Later in the day we hiked to the top of a ridge and then repelled down off of it.
On the second day we participated in several group activities including a chasm scramble, and a “jankie ladder”
overall it was a great trip. Met a lot of really cool people, stretched myself and my comfort zones a bit and learned a lot.
