The Sierra Nevada mountain range is a stunning sight. This image was made just after Thanksgiving 2012. I was camped along the Alabama Hills near Lone Pine California with Marina.
I don’t spend enough time working in my Lightroom catalog. I have a process of going through my newly imported photographs. I only select a small handful of images to edit, print and post. This image, for some reason, just never made the cut.
Looking at this image now – with fresh eyes, I seem to feel very drawn to it. I like the really soft light and the expansive angle of view.
