This photo is from central Utah near the sego canyon.  The petroglyphs lined the walls of the canyon that we camped in.  it’s interesting to think that I camped in a place that has been used for hundreds of years.   Petroglyphs made by native Americans around 1000 a 500 years ago are right next to carvings made by early white ranchers in the 1800s .

Robert and Tyler are two of my best friends, this photo was taken back in the middle of summer while we were eating ice cream in rice hill. 

My friend Felix joined me for predawn photo trip at the Finnely wildlife refuge. The January morning was so crisp and cold. 

Snow in the quad was so cool back in the day. 

This photo was taken back from 2008 was back in my early phase of long exposure photographs. Can’t beat the ole’ boatnik  

all of these people showed up at pioneer square after midnight on the rumor that Dave Chapelle would be performing some impromptu stand up at 1:00am Dave Chappelle was there. He showed up but the crowds were to large for him to perform to. Couldn’t hear a thing.  

The Hellgate lunch boats would pass by me everyday down by the lower Galice rapid. They wave at everything.

Unfortunately, I was only able to visit the Grand Canyon for a short time. I really like the textures seen in the water worn sandstone of the canyon.   

I have been working with Lightroom for iPad over the past few days. Here is an image from the Oregon Coast. I like the adjustments I have been able to add to my photos, but the app still leaves a bit to be desired.

Pulled up this photo from early 2010. The crow was perched on the tree branch outside of my window. I waited with my telephoto lens sticking out of my bedroom window until it made a move. At the time it was a photo exercise in capturing the decisive moment – now, seeing it years later, it seems more moody.   

This photo was taken on my Nikon D1 sometime back in 2009.  That camera… the D1, was from 2000! It was the first line of DSLR cameras Nikon built. Times change

This image was taken right at dawn before the morning mist was able to burn off.

I think this is somewhere on the Highway heading in to Klamath Falls. The open highways of of the North West can be so interesting … and so long and desloate.

Jeremy, in classic form, jumping off a rock at the Illinois river down in Southern Oregon.

I picked my friend Justin up from his home in Eugene and headed out of town late on a friday evening.  We drove to this pull out / campsite near Smith Rock State Park.  This was late April, 2011  

The October color of central Utah I passed this photo by, never really paid much attention to it in my Lightroom library. That is where so many of my photos seem to end up… and for what?   This project , or the reason that I am posting so many of my photos to my blog and social media is because I want my photos to get off my hard drives and out somewhere. 

This photo was taken in the desert out side of Moab Utah. This dead tree still stood beside the wall of sand stone.
