We have transitioned into working with Canon camera equipment. During this time in Maui, we are shooting with a Canon 5D Mark III, we have also invested in lenses that assist us in capturing our work F portrait photographers are on the island. 24 to 70 seems to be the sweet spot lens. I have been using this every day for everything. I have not many landscapes here on the island with it. And I use it every morning and evening tearing a portrait photo session.
It has many significant strengths, however, I do notice that I miss the crisp sharpness that my 50 mm 1.8 achieved. I do recognize that prime lenses seem to be sharper and hold there contrast better. I notice some fuzziness or softness not because the lens is damaged. It’s just something I noticed. The New gear has been created capturing video also. While I am working I have been asked to capture more video during family photo sessions. I have been used to shooting video for many years now however it was nice to have a set of two cameras that are ready to capture video.
