360 Rock Image

Post from RICOH THETA. – Spherical Image – RICOH THETA

This 360 Rock Image was photographed with a 360 camera of an area filled with high desert rocks. Rock art is an interest of mine. I always appreciate it when I get a chance to see a petroglyph or pictograph in the rocks.  Long ago before this region was settled, tribes of nomadic people traveled through these areas to follow game over the years.

Some of the artifacts that they created as humans still remain in the remote areas of the west today. In the southwest years ago I went to Newspaper rock near Canyonlands National Park. This rock location is covered in hundreds of pictograph representations. Artifacts are represented across America.
