A remote area in the Wallowa mountains
The wilderness area of the wallowa mountains is perhaps my favorite photography location. This image taken in the backcountry shows a remote mountain lake mirrored in the morning mist with an exposed Alps like Mountain peak. This image was taken on a backpacking trip that I was working on the photo projects on tearing a thousand 12.
This is one of my more productive periods of time when I was making portfolio level pieces of art regularly. This image has a crisp and surreal quality that I like it a lot in the images that I am trying to produce. There is a simplicity to it that even today many years later still qualifies as this photo as one of my favorites and a portfolio contender.
