Kelly Christensen Memorial Scholarship
Honoring dedication to others, integrity, and passion in public education and student leadership.
Legacy • Mr. C
For more than a decade, Kelly Baldwin Christensen served the students of the Three Rivers School District as a teacher and Vice Principal at Hidden Valley High School before becoming Principal at Fruitdale Elementary. In August 2011, Kelly concluded his courageous fight with cancer, leaving behind a devoted family and a wide network of colleagues, educators, and students who were inspired by his guidance.
In March 2013, the Kelly Christensen Memorial Scholarship was created to help carry forward his legacy of commitment to others, integrity, and personal drive. Through the support of the Josephine County Educational Fund, faculty at Hidden Valley, and generous community donors who remember Kelly, our scholarship was established and awarded for the first time on May 22, 2013.
