Master Image License Agreement
Standardized terms, usage conditions, and commercial rights for digital photo downloads, editorial publications, and production masters across the Billy Newman Photo archive.
1. Standard License Tiers
For individuals, wallpaper displays, decorative home prints, and personal social accounts.

For businesses, digital editorial, blogs, marketing campaigns, and corporate presentations.
- Full-resolution product master file
- Websites, newsletters, campaigns, apps
- Up to 500,000 lifetime impressions
- No resale merchandise; credit optional
For retail products, resale merchandise, book covers, and broadcast film productions.
- Master uncompressed product file
- Merchandise for resale (prints, apparel, cards)
- Book covers, interiors & film/video productions
- Unlimited impressions & distribution
2. Master License Terms and Conditions
1. Grant of License
Billy Newman grants the licensee a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, non-transferable license to reproduce and display the licensed work solely under the scope of the purchased tier.
2. Copyright Retention
Billy Newman retains 100% of the copyright, title, and intellectual property rights in and to all images at all times. A purchase transfers a usage license only, never copyright.
3. Impression & Resale Rules
Usage volume is governed by the purchased tier:
- Commercial Tier Cap: Up to 500,000 lifetime impressions (digital pageviews, email opens, or print run). Distribution exceeding 500,000 requires an Extended License.
- Resale Merchandise: Any use where the image is incorporated into a physical or digital product intended for resale (apparel, mugs, retail prints, book covers, packaging) strictly requires the Extended License.
4. Strict Prohibitions Across All Tiers
- No Sublicensing or Resale: The licensee may not sub-license, resell, donate, or distribute the image file as a standalone stock photo.
- No AI Model Training or Scraping: The image and associated files may NOT be used, ingested, mined, or scraped for machine learning, artificial intelligence model training, neural network dataset assembly, or synthetic generation.
- No Trademark Use: The image may not be incorporated into a corporate logo, trademark, or service mark.
- No Defamatory Use: The image may not be used in connection with defamatory, illegal, or pornographic material.
5. Credit & Attribution
- Personal License: Attribution requested where feasible (Photo: Billy Newman / billynewmanphoto.com).
- Commercial and Extended Licenses: Formal photo credit is optional.
6. Delivery & Resolution Master
Low-resolution, watermarked comps on images.wnp.app and billynewmanphoto.com are free for review and reference. Full-resolution production masters deliver upon license acquisition via wnp-pay.web.app.
7. Exclusive Buyouts
Time-limited exclusive rights or complete copyright assignment transfers are evaluated individually. Inquiries may be submitted to billy@billynewmanphoto.com.
8. Limitation of Liability
Total liability arising out of this agreement shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific license. Any breach of these terms immediately and automatically terminates the granted license.
