cloud building up over the ocean water
Living in Maui is interesting. Observing the weather off of the Pacific ocean is different than what I have done before while living on land. Also living in the tropics has different seasonal changes than living in a more temperate climate like I am here in Oregon. The climate in the tropics from Maui is alternating just a bit through the year.
The Temperature changes just by a few degrees in variation but the direction of the Winds changes. In this photograph, we are looking out to the west over the Pacific ocean. Miles away from Maui out in open water a thunderhead begins to percolate up toward the stratosphere. Seeing in this photo far enough away that there is still sunshine on it even after the Sunset in Maui where I stepped this photo.
