This black and white image I made on a backpacking trip in the Wallowa mountains is one of my favorites from the past few months. Blue Hour along the Lost Coast
This image was taken back in October along the Lost Coast during our week there. I had passed by this image a few times, perhaps because of the dark shadows on the left side of the frame, but I like the lines of the clouds as they stretch north, up the coast. I also like the blue wash of tide over the rocks.

An image of my home blanketed with snow after last Thursdays snow storm. It has been years since the last time we had this much snow fall in southern Oregon. We were one of the fortunate homes in the area that did not loose power during the storm. A few friends of mine have been without power for the better part of a week now.
