High desert land north of Maupin Oregon
This photograph was captured on film in the high desert of Oregon on the Deschutes River. The Deschutes River stretches from the Cascades near the three sisters. The river flows north toward the Columbia River. The river canyon cuts out a gorge through the high desert landscape in this image.
The Deschutes River along with the John Day River are both areas that I have not explored. These dynamic river systems are accessible to many people. I appreciate the photographic opportunities I have from traveling to managed lands. The Deschuttes river running through the high desert land North of Maupin Oregon.
