Photographing Marina on an August evening
This photograph was taken on an August evening. I had rented a wide-angle Nikon lens for a week of shooting in participation with another paid photo project. I am often working on the backlight in my photographs. In this image, I am using the setting sun and placing it that bright object directly behind the subject.
With the exposure, the light of the sun Burns out any of the detail in that spot of the land. And the golden glow permeates through the photograph toward the lens.
