Driving a Chevy Colorado on Hart Mountain
This photograph of my pickup truck is from an area taken in eastern Oregon. Driving a Chevy Colorado on Hart Mountain . Springtime in eastern Oregon is more green and lush than some of the drier. Time in the summer. Seminaries in eastern Oregon go through periods of drought and never received any water at all. In years like the one photographed in the image, early spring rainfall leaves the sagebrush Green and flowering. The high desert is a ray and fragrant place.
Having a solid pickup truck has made a huge difference in the access that I have to remote locations. During the time when I was only able to travel in back Camry, I have limited access to locations that had bad terrain and rough roads. For example, on a trip with the Camry, I was forced to turn around adding an area in Death Valley because the grade of the road would hi center my sedan. The access to afforded to me with this truck is much better than what I have had before. I miss having my truck around. I sold it off when we found out we were moving to Hawaii. This photo was taken on the east side of Hart mountain while we were out driving through some remote terrain.
