Many of the photographs that I take are never posted anywhere. This image was made from the parking lot of the Lost Coast parking lot last fall. October 2012 was a really creative time for me. This photograph was taken with my old SLR film camera while I was backpacking through the Mount Hood National forest. I think it has a nice feel to it, the mountain center in the frame, the small bit of campfire in the tree line, and the soft warm light after a summer sunset. All of this seems like a world away now that it is December.

This image was made almost 1 year ago when I returned home from my 100 day trip through the west coast. It rarely snows in southern Oregon, and when it does, it never lasts for long. Have to give it up to my family for putting so much in to the holidays.  

Guano Valley Today I thought that I should post a photo from this past May.  This image of my Grandpa and Dad was shot in eastern Oregon, south of a small town called Plush near Hart Mountain and the Warner valley.  The photo above was made while we were out on a hike through the sagebrush near an old dry lake bed Indians once camped at.

For along time now I have wanted a 1st gen toyota 4runner. I’ve been looking around for one in good condition for a while now, last week I picked up a 1989 4runner in pretty good shape. I’m considering this version one. The project will be to turn this truck into some kind of overland adventure camping truck.

I have been working over the past few weeks on an upcoming ebook project for my film photos. Below are 2 images that I have pulled out of my collection after I did another pass. The top image is from the Yosemite Valley right before the sun set behind the hills. The bottom image was taken in late November in the Californian High desert.

The photo in this post was captured and edited yesterday all on my phone, even this post was created and posted using only my smartphone.
