350,000 miles

I am currently in Hood River Oregon, working out of a cool coffee shop that I first visited this time last year. This marks the second day of our trip traveling through the west coast of the US. Backcountry travel & night sky
I’ve shot Western wilderness areas since 2011. Wallowa Mountains, Alvord Desert, Tetons, Yellowstone, Moab, Canyonlands, Yosemite, Grand Canyon. Early trips were 50-100 day road expeditions. Now I do shorter trips and daily morning shoots. I track constellations across seasons and use this to plan photography around moon phases and sky conditions.

Scholarship organizer
I founded the Kelly Christensen Memorial Scholarship for my English teacher at Hidden Valley High School. I work with the Redwood Education Foundation to select graduating seniors who lead and mentor.

I am a photographer and creative director that has served clients in the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. For more than 10 years, I have worked with businesses and individuals to create a portfolio of commercial photography. The images have been placed within billboard, print, and digital campaigns including Travel Oregon, Airbnb, Chevrolet and Guaranty RV.

My photographs often incorporate outdoor landscape environments with strong elements of light, weather, and sky. Through my work, I have published several books of photographs that further explore my connection to natural places.
